Take A Hike Behind and Below The Record-Setting SkyBridge

*Boardwalk is open. Tulip Tower, Hiking Trails, and the gravel portion of the SkyTrail are closed.*

Hike the SkyTrail

Ideal for adults, children, and even four-legged companions, the Gatlinburg SkyTrail invites guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the mountains while enjoying a unique perspective of the famous SkyBridge.

Embark on the Elevated-Boardwalk, a wooden pathway tracing the ridge behind the SkyBridge, which offers engaging signage detailing the SkyBridge's engineering, the history of the iconic Gatlinburg SkyLift, and the 2016 wildfires that swept through Crockett Mountain.

The Tulip Tower, a striking 70-foot steel edifice situated off the SkyTrail, beckons adventurers with its four viewing platforms accessed via two rope bridges. From the Tulip Tower's vantage points, visitors can savor unparalleled views of the Smoky Mountains and the iconic SkyBridge.

While the SkyTrail remains accessible both day and night, it's important to note that access to the Tulip Tower is restricted to daytime hours only.

The Path section of the SkyTrail is currently CLOSED for maintenance.
